得益于兼具中西之美的园区设计和博采众长的课程设计，在接触过乐成四合院幼儿园的众多家长之中，我们最常听到的一句话就是：“羡慕孩子们，恨不得自己重回三岁，过来重新上一次幼儿园。”

事实上，作为一个紧密联系的社区，乐成四合院幼儿园的家庭们，也的确在这个美丽的教学空间中进行着持续的学习和交流。在见证着孩子们成长的同时，爸爸妈妈们也仿佛真的“重回三岁”，在漂浮屋顶、在无边界的教学区和无处不在的图书中找寻着童年的纯真和快乐。

在2020的上半年，线下的相遇被疫情阻隔。虽然还有诸多线上说明会可以参与，各位家长却总觉得少了一份可触碰的实感。但随着抗疫形势的逐渐明朗和北京市教委春季学期基础教育工作会上对于试开学工作的部署，这份顾虑现在也可以解开了：四合院幼儿园除了紧锣密鼓的进行开园准备外，也期待着与各位家长在线下的相遇。

在五月的最后，四合院幼儿园将举办（线下）招生说明会。此次活动中，各位爸爸妈妈将可以实地漫步于古今融合的园区、聆听四合院幼儿园的教学理念、亲身体验乐成幼儿园学习法的创新课程，并有机会与园长面对面进行深度交流，而四合院幼儿园招生官也将在现场为您解疑答惑。

西府海棠下，独步庭院间

乐成四合院幼儿园是乐成教育的重要成员，校园将优雅的现代建筑与传统四合院（始建于1725年）巧妙相连，创造出一种绚丽又实用、古典又现代的融合之美。在这里，孩子们可以在环绕着古代庭院的“漂浮屋顶”运动场尽情 “上房揭瓦”，也可以在斑驳温和的古老门墙下开始自己最初的学习和思考。

经过中外教育专家的通力合作，乐成四合院幼儿园总结出一套探索式“玩”中学的学习法，致力于让每个孩子在“无边界”的学习环境中成为自信而富有创造力的学习者，前沿的全人课程体系，在采用国际课程标准的同时也充分尊重和强调中国的语言和文化，确保孩子在漫长的学习旅程中拥有最良好的开端。

全球范围严格筛选

组建超一流教师团队

乐成教育总校长尼克·博利先生曾用三个名词来描述四合院幼儿园教学团队的共性：建设者、创新者和协作者。乐成教育委托国际学校理事会（CIS）进行全球招募，严格选拔认同乐成教育理念、具有双语能力和国际教育相关经验的优秀人才。现有教学团队中超过 60% 拥有教育领域硕士及以上学位，近 70%  拥有海外背景，大部分教师拥有 5 年以上教学经验，为乐成四合院幼儿园先进课程的落地打下了坚实基础。此外，乐成教育研究院及外部顾问专家为教师们提供持续的职业发展培训，保证了教学团队的不断成长。

确保安心成长

环境安全方面，四合院幼儿园按照绿色建筑领域最权威的评估体系——LEED（绿色能源与环境设计先锋奖）金奖标准进行设计和建造。饮食方面则由特约营养专家精心搭配膳食，并经厨房使用有机、绿色食材以最高卫生标准加工。此外，乐成四合院幼儿园的校医会全天候为孩子们提供专业服务，一切只为保障孩子们能够在安全的环境中安心地成长。

Reaching for Tomorrow

Parents to the Courtyard Kindergarten are entranced by the beauty of the building, in which a sweeping learning space envelops a Qing Dynasty courtyard palace that lends the kindergarten its name. Those who stay longer come to appreciate that the school's true beauty lies in the unusual quality of the children's learning. Many parents can't help expressing how they envy children here and wish to be 3-year-old again.

In fact, as a close learning community of respect, kindness, and love, parents siding with teachers are children's learning partners too. While witnessing the growth of their children, moms and dads seem to have really returned to the age of three and found the long-lost innocence and the playful joy on the "floating" rooftop playground and in the "no boundaries"learning environment.

In early 2020, COVID-19 held parents back from visiting kindergartens. Attending an online session was not enough for us to comprehensively understand the learning program of a kindergarten. The good news is that schools are expected to reopen in June according to the new arrangement of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission. While preparing for children's return, we are also looking forward to meeting you at our beautiful campus.

On Saturday the 30th of May, we will welcome you to attend an Information Session at the YueCheng Courtyard Kindergarten for the first time this year. In this event, you can tour the campus, understand more about learning Principles and the YueCheng Kindergarten Approach, and have an overview of children's day at the kindergarten. The Principal David Shirley, Chinese Director Dr. Xia Mingzhu and their colleagues will make a presentation and answer your questions in depth.

Wandering in the ancient courtyard

YCCK is a member institution of YueCheng Education (YCE). The elegant modern building and the traditional Qing Dynasty courtyard (founded in 1725) have been ingeniously connected to create a beautiful yet functional blend of ancient and modern. 

Chinese and foreign educational experts have collaborated to create a curriculum and pedagogy that enables young children to learn through investigative play. Children become confident and creative learners in a joyful 'no boundaries' learning environment that challenges them to achieve and exceed the highest international standards.

What makes YCCK different?

YCCK is the first kindergarten in Beijing to use an inquiry-based methodology called Investigative Play within a no-boundaries learning environment. The modern holistic program honors the best of Chinese language and culture and ensures that children will have the best possible start to their educational journey.

Who teaches your child?

The YueCheng Education Superintendent, Mr. Nick Bowley once said that there are three terms that most suitably describe the characteristics of our teaching team: they are innovators, builders and thinkers. They are also very caring and hard-working! YueCheng Education (YCE) commissioned the best international recruitment authorities to conduct a worldwide search for outstanding candidates. All our teaching positions not only require outstanding professional competence but also rich and relevant work experience. Up to now, more than 70% of teachers have a master's degree or higher in education majors, more than 60% have an overseas background, and most of them have more than 5 years of teaching experience. Continuing professional development is provided by the YueCheng Education Research Institute and esteemed external consultants.

The campus has been built following LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) standards in support of children's health and wellbeing, ensuring the highest quality learning environment for children, and is resourced with the most up to date learning and teaching materials.
